संसाधनों का वर्गीकरण (Classification of Resources)

प्रयोग के आधार पर संसाधनों को निम्नलिखित भागों में वर्गीकृत किया जा सकता है–
1. अप्रयुक्त संसाधन
2. अप्रयोजनीय संसाधन
3. संभाव्य संसाधन
4. गुप्त संसाधन।

On the basis of usage, resources can be classified into the following parts–
1. Unused Resource
2. Non-renewable Resource
3. Potential Resource
4. Secret Resources.

अप्रयुक्त संसाधन (Unused Resources)

ऐसे संसाधन जिनका प्रयोग नहीं किया जा रहा है, 'अप्रयुक्त संसाधन' कहलाते हैं। कोई भी संसाधन अप्रयुक्त संसाधन की श्रेणी में तब तक शामिल रहता है, जब तक कि उसका प्रयोग नहीं किया जाता। संसाधन का प्रयोग प्रारंभ होने के पश्चात वह अप्रयुक्त संसाधन नहीं रहता। प्रकृति के कुछ खनिज भंडारों का पता होने पर भी वर्तमान में उनका दोहन और उपयोग नहीं हो पा रहा है। ऐसे खनिज अप्रयुक्त संसाधन के उदाहरण हैं।

The resources which are not being used are called 'unused resources'. Any resource is included in the category of unused resource until it is not used. Once the resource has been used, it is no longer an unused resource. Even though some of the mineral deposits of nature are known, they are not being exploited and used at present. Such minerals are examples of untapped resource.

अप्रयोजनीय संसाधन (Non-renewable Resources)

वर्तमान में उपलब्ध तकनीक के आधार पर जिन संसाधनों का प्रयोग भविष्य में नहीं हो सकता, 'अप्रयोजनीय संसाधन' कहलाते हैं।

Resources which cannot be used in future based on the technology available at present are called 'non-reusable resources'.

संभाव्य संसाधन (Potential Resources)

ऐसे संसाधन वर्तमान में जिनका प्रयोग नहीं हो रहा है किन्तु भविष्य में उचित प्रयोग हो सकता है, 'संभाव्य संसाधन' कहलाते हैं। सामान्यतः इन संसाधनों का प्रयोग तकनीक या योजना के अभाव में नहीं हो पाता। नदियों का बहता हुआ जल नहर बन जाने के बाद सिंचाई के काम आ सकता है। बांध निर्मित करने पर विद्युत उत्पादन किया जा सकता है। ये संभाव्य संसाधन का उदाहरण हैं।

Those resources which are not being used at present but can be used properly in future are called 'potential resources'. Generally these resources cannot be used due to lack of technology or planning. The flowing water of the rivers can be used for irrigation after becoming a canal. Electricity can be generated by building a dam. These are examples of probabilistic processing.

गुप्त संसाधन (Secret Resources)

ऐसे पदार्थ वर्तमान में जिनके आवश्यक गुण और उचित प्रयोग ज्ञात न हो, 'गुप्त संसाधन' कहलाते हैं। उदाहरण के लिए प्राचीन समय में लोग पेट्रोलियम पदार्थ के गुण और प्रयोग को नहीं जानते थे। पेट्रोलियम का प्रयोग प्रारंभ होने से पहले वह गुप्त संसाधन था।

Such substances, whose essential properties and proper use are not known at present, are called 'secret resources'. For example, in ancient times people did not know the properties and uses of petroleum. It was a hidden resource before petroleum was used.
