(India)

India is an important country in the continent of Asia. It is the southern extension of the continent of Asia. The mainland of India lies between the east and west of the continent of Asia. To the south of India lies the Indian Ocean. It is one of the four oceans of the world. The Indian Ocean connects Western European countries and East Asian countries. Along with this, it also provides central status to India. The coastline of any country in the world in the Indian Ocean is not the same as that of India. Due to this unique position of India, this country has been named after an ocean. That is, India is also called 'Hindustan' after the name of the Indian Ocean. The southern plateau of India is spread over the top of the Indian Ocean. Apart from this, this plateau maintains close relations with the countries of Western Asia, Europe and Africa. In addition, this plateau is closely related to the countries of East Asia through the east coast.

(India and World)

India has been in contact with the countries of the world since ancient times. In ancient times, only land routes were used to go from one country to another. Sea waterways were discovered after the lapse of several centuries. As a result, through these routes, various ideas and goods of ancient times started being exchanged from one country to another. India has had wonderful contacts with its neighboring countries since ancient times. India has maintained relations with various countries of West-Central and East Asia and South Asia since ancient times. Due to the international routes establishing relations between the countries of the world, the various schools of India, the ideas of the Upanishads, the stories of Ramayana and Panchatantra, Indian numerals and decimal system, etc. could reach different parts of the world. Along with this, spices, muslin and other items of trade from India started being exported from India to various countries.
